Men are empathetic to women

Nonetheless, the study's results suggest that both sexes have similar brain activity in areas linked to empathy. However, differences between the two sexes were striking.

The hashtag, which has gone viral, was inspired by Bryant, a former basketball star who was celebrated as a hero for championing the cause of girls. As a tribute to Bryant and his daughter Gianna, the hashtag has become a trending topic online.

Sara Shandler, a writer who was seventeen when she wrote her book "Ophelia Speaks" based on her experience, found that teenage girls were often angry at their fathers for their lack of attention. Many of the teenage writers expressed depression and feelings of being distant from their fathers. It was heartbreaking to discover just how far a teen's feelings had fallen because of their parents' inattention. In some cases, the feelings of anger and depression were so profound that the teen girls turned to writing to vent their frustrations.
